Join us for the second annual International Week at the University of Edinburgh Business School—a celebration of our diverse community and a platform for exploring global career opportunities. This flagship event brings together undergraduate and postgraduate students, alumni, and international-focused societies to create a week of learning, networking, and cultural enrichment.

Building on the success of last year’s event, International Week 2025 will feature:

  • Alumni Panels offering career insights from professionals working across different countries and industries.
  • The Global Fair, celebrating cultural traditions and global perspectives, with multicultural societies and business societies.
  • Interactive Language Taster Sessions, explore new languages and cultures with the Centre for Open Learning and LLC.
  • The International Photo Competition, where students can submit photos that capture their culture for a chance to win a prize and have their work displayed around the school.
  • Networking Opportunities, with multiple chances to connect with alumni, peers, and industry professionals, and build valuable networking skills throughout the week.
  • Skills Development Workshops, interactive sessions designed to boost your international career skills and give you the tools to stand out globally.

International Week photo competition

Celebrate Culture Through the Lens

As part of International Week 2025, the University of Edinburgh Business School invites you to showcase the rich diversity of your community through photography. The competition encourages students to share their unique perspectives, cultures, and experiences across two categories:

  1. Global Perspectives: Photograph something that feels like home with you in Edinburgh.
  2. Traditions & Celebrations: Photograph something that shares a glimpse into your culture’s unique identity through the lens of tradition or celebration.

Submit your photos to celebrate the stories that make our international community so vibrant. Winning entries will be displayed in a photo exhibition during International Week, with prizes for the top submissions. Let’s come together to honour our diverse backgrounds and shared connections!
