Throughout the year, the School gives students the opportunity to engage with industry and business professionals in their own environments.

Annual Women in Leadership MBA Trek

This is a student-led trek taking place annually, focusing on opportunities and challenges faced in the area of Women in Leadership. We ask that our student committee design a theme and source speakers that align to their vision.

Company visits

We provide opportunities to meet with companies who provide insights into areas of interest for the MBA cohort across a number of different industries.

Below is a photo from our recent visit to RBS exploring and understanding aspects of their Digital Transformation journey.

International treks

Throughout the year we run international treks both for credit and not-for-credit.

International Business in Context course

As part of your MBA programme you will have the opportunity to travel abroad on our International Business in Context course. This 10-credit course allows you to work with and visit companies and immerse yourself in doing business overseas.

The course focuses on a company issued project. You are then able to take the learning from visits throughout the week into your recommendations on the challenge set at the end of the week.

International visits

As well as our for-credit course MBA students get a chance to travel overseas to visit a new and exciting country. As part of the trek you will meet with companies working across a range of business areas. More details on the location of the visit will be provided as you join the programme.
