These business-focused societies regularly run events at the Business School, and we encourage you to become involved.

Society Description
Students' Association Edinburgh University Students’ Association has more than 260 societies, a postgraduate-specific network, peer support and volunteer opportunities.
Business Society The Business Society runs regular career events, workshops, talks and networking opportunities with young professionals, like-minded students and graduate recruiters.
Economics Society The Economics Society offers students access to information and experiences concerning economics that are not otherwise available through the School or University.
EUTIC Edinburgh University Trading & Investment Club holds weekly club-wide meetings which gives members an opportunity to learn more about finance and current affairs.
EUSU Edinburgh University Sports Union, from archery to weight lifting there are a number of sports clubs to get involved with.
Student Enterprise Society The Student Enterprise Society (previously iCue) is a careers society that strives to provide its members with real-world business experience and life skills to increase their future employability.
Latin American Society The Latin American Society offers members an annual forum and series of events.
The Marketing Society The Marketing Society aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the world of Marketing and the diverse job interview opportunities within the business. Through the Experience in Marketing Conference in the second semester, the students will gain valuable insight into the marketing aspects behind a range of companies and learn more about what the concept of marketing really entails.

FreshSight FreshSight is a student-led consultancy service, helping organisations to innovate and grow.
Scotland-Russia Forum The Scotland-Russia Forum promotes interest in Russia and its neighbours to improve understanding of those countries in Scotland. They run a Russian culture centre and a variety of events during the year.
Asia Scotland Institute The Asia Scotland Institute aims to equip Scotland’s leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to engage with Asia in a way that their enterprising forebears did. ASI run a series of networking events throughout the year.
Confucius Institute for Scotland Established in 2007, the award winning Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh, is a national centre to promote educational, economic, and cultural ties between Scotland and China.

Consultancy club

This is a student-led club which the Business School takes a lead in helping to support different events and activities throughout the year. The club is aimed at any student who is interested in working towards a career in consultancy across any programme at the University.

The club is also a great place to start work on your case interviewing techniques as we often run through a case at each session.
